Colombian consular services in Detroit, Michigan
Colombia has no permanent consulate in Detroit. This is not an oversight on this page — Colombia maintains exactly 12 career consulates in the United States, and Detroit is not one of them. If you live in the Detroit area, your consulate is in Chicago.

Mobile consulates — service without the full trip
Past announcement: October 10, 2026. Chicago’s Detroit mobile-consulate notice announced service at Mexicantown CDC Plaza, 2835 Bagley, Suite 895, Detroit, Michigan, 48216, from 8am to 5pm. The announced session was without appointments, in order of arrival until slots ran out. The notice explicitly excluded cédula de ciudadanía processing. These are the terms of that past announcement, not a new appointment date.
The Chicago consulate periodically runs Consulado Express / mobile consulate sessions around its 12-state Midwest jurisdiction (a 2026 session in Saint Paul, Minnesota served over 100 people). Watch the consulate’s news page and its social channels for a Detroit-area date before driving the ~280 miles to Chicago.
