As of 2026, Honduras operates 19 consular offices across 14 US states and the District of Columbia — the Embassy of Honduras lists all of them, each with address, phone and e-mail, in its directory at hondurasemb.org/consulados (“Información sobre nuestros 19 consulados en Estados Unidos”, read September 24, 2026) — the network the Honduran diaspora uses for passports, the DNI / consular ID, and civil-registry paperwork.
Book appointments through the official Honduran portal — citaconsular.sreci.gob.hn (passport, DNI enrollment, registrations, powers of attorney) — but it does not cover every office: on September 24, 2026 its “Estados Unidos” menu listed 11 of the 19 (Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, McAllen, Miami, New Orleans, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.). For the others, contact the consulate directly; the Houston consulate serves walk-ins, first come, first served, per its page in the embassy directory. One of the 19 offices is the Consulate-General in Kansas City, Kansas (6310 Lamar Ave, Suite 120, Overland Park, KS 66202; consulado.kansas@sreci.gob.hn). For consular emergencies — a lost passport, a detention, the death of a relative — contact the Embassy of Honduras in Washington, DC — 1220 19th St NW #320, Washington, DC 20036, Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; its own contact page (hondurasemb.org, checked September 24, 2026) offers a contact form and lists no public phone number.
