No Cuban consulate in Miami: the consulate’s contracted agencies by state
Cuba has one consular office in the United States, the Oficina Consular de Cuba en Estados Unidos in Washington, DC. There is no Cuban consulate in Miami or in any other US city. Outside Washington, the office works through private agencies under contract with it: its services page, read October 19, 2026, links agency lists for 20 jurisdictions (18 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico). Counted from those PDFs, the lists name 84 agency entries at 88 addresses, 44 of the addresses in Florida.
This page reproduces those official lists by state. The list is the consulate’s, not a MigrantUSA recommendation, and the agencies’ own service charges are set by each agency, not by the consulate’s page or by us.
How the agency channel works
The consular-services page (read October 19, 2026) says that “la mayoría de los servicios” (most of its services) can be requested three ways:
In person at the consular office, 2639 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20009. The page says the office reopened in-person service on March 4 and is open to the public Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
By mail, addressed to Embassy of the Republic of Cuba, 2630 16th St NW, Washington DC, 20009.
Through “las Agencias que tienen contrato con nuestra oficina”, the agencies that have a contract with the office.
For some services the page names only two channels, in person or an agency:
First Cuban passport. It is requested “a través de la vía presencial, o a través de alguna de las Agencias que tienen contrato de trabajo con la Oficina Consular”. Through an agency, the first payment is a $20 identity verification. See our Cuban first passport guide.
Authorization for a minor’s passport and travel abroad. The page says it “solo se realizará si la solicitud se efectúa de manera presencial o a través de las Agencias que tienen contrato con el Consulado”. Through an agency, the power of attorney must be notarized in the parent’s US state, and each legalization costs 140.00 USD plus 20.00 USD for the non-personal procedure. See parental authorization for a minor’s Cuban passport.
The page also lists agency fees for two services foreigners use. A tourist card or an A-2 family visa requested through an agency costs $20.00 for the application, $50.00 for issuance and $20.00 for the non-personal procedure. For a Cuban-citizenship application, the page says the documents are presented through an agency contracted by the office or in person.
What the page does not publish: a price list for the agencies’ own service charges. Ask the agency what it charges on top of the consular fees before you hand over documents or money.
Return envelopes for mailed requests
The consular-services page requires a prepaid return envelope inside the envelope containing a request mailed to the Embassy in Washington (2630 16th St NW), for returning the documents after the service. For family requests, the consular page requires a separate return envelope for each applicant (checked October 23, 2026).
Agencies by state: summary
Counting rule: one row per address block (Dirección) printed in the PDFs; the New York PDF prints two street addresses in one block. An “agency entry” is a distinct agency name printed in one state’s PDF, so an agency with two printed addresses counts once in that state. The same name can appear in two states’ PDFs (District Cuba appears in both DC and Texas).
Reproduced as printed. Names, addresses, cities and phone numbers are copied exactly as each PDF prints them, including spellings such as “TENAFLAY”, “RUSSEL RD” and “FLAGER STREET” and the PDFs’ own phone formats. Each row was checked against two independent text extractions of the PDF.
Emails omitted. The PDFs also print email addresses, many of them personal accounts. They are left out here; they are in the consulate’s PDFs.
No printed date. None of the 20 PDFs prints a date. Their file metadata shows creation dates from October 2019 (Pennsylvania) to March 2024 (Georgia). An agency can close or move after its PDF was made, so confirm with the agency and, if in doubt, with the consular office at (202)-797-8518 or recepcion@usadc.embacuba.cu (the page lists those lines for questions Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
Not compensated. MigrantUSA receives nothing from any agency listed and none of the links on this page is compensated.

Fees the consulate itself publishes
The consular fees below are on the consular page (read October 19, 2026). The payment method the page sets for personal procedures is a USPS Postal Money Order; it says requests paid with any other money order are returned.
Passport renewal: $180 (over 16) or $140 (under 16), plus $20 if sent by mail and a separate $5 money order. See Cuba passport renewal.
First passport: $20 identity verification when filed through an agency, then $180 or $140 plus $5. See the first-passport guide.
Tourist card or A-2 visa through an agency: $20 + $50 + $20.

Last verified: 2026-10-19. This is general information, not legal advice. Consult an attorney for your specific situation. The agency lists are those published by the Consular Office of the Embassy of Cuba in Washington, DC; inclusion is the consulate’s decision, not a MigrantUSA endorsement. Frequently asked questions
Is there a Cuban consulate in Miami?+
No. The Cuban government’s consular page for the United States names one consular office, the Oficina Consular de Cuba en Estados Unidos at 2639 16th St NW, Washington, DC. In Florida the office works through contracted agencies: its Florida PDF lists 42 agency entries at 44 addresses, in cities such as Miami, Hialeah, Tampa, Naples and Coral Gables (read October 19, 2026).
How many agencies does the Cuban consulate list?+
As of October 19, 2026, the consular page links agency lists for 20 jurisdictions: 18 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Counted from those PDFs, they name 84 agency entries at 88 addresses. Florida has 44 of the addresses, New Jersey 7 and Texas 5.
How much do the agencies charge?+
The consular page publishes the consulate’s own fees, not the agencies’ service charges. For example, it says a first-passport application filed through an agency carries a $20 identity-verification payment, and a tourist card or A-2 family visa requested through an agency costs $20 for the application, $50 for issuance and $20 for the non-personal procedure. Any additional charge is set by the agency, not by the consulate’s page and not by MigrantUSA.
Which consular services can only be done in person or through an agency?+
The consular page says a first passport is requested in person or through a contracted agency, and that the authorization for a minor’s passport and travel abroad is done only in person or through the contracted agencies. Neither is listed for mail.
Is this list an endorsement?+
No. The list is the Cuban consular office’s own, reproduced as printed in its PDFs. MigrantUSA does not rate, recommend or receive anything from any agency on it.
My state has no agency on the list. What are the other channels?+
The consular page names three channels: in person at the office in Washington, DC (open to the public Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon), by mail to 2630 16th St NW, Washington DC 20009, or through a contracted agency. Some services are not accepted by mail.
How current are the agency PDFs?+
The PDFs carry no printed date. Their file metadata shows creation dates from October 2019 (Pennsylvania) to March 2024 (Georgia). The consular page still linked all 20 PDFs on October 19, 2026.
