Every active agreement between ICE and a state or local law-enforcement agency under INA § 287(g), parsed from ICE’s official participating-agencies workbook into a stable JSON schema.

Current totals by model: 180 Jail Enforcement, 1,248 Task Force, 506 Warrant Service Officer. The Task Force model — restored in 2025 after being discontinued in 2012 — now accounts for roughly two-thirds of all agreements.

Method

A monthly automated job downloads ICE’s published XLSX workbook, parses it, validates the shape (row counts, state codes, model values), and replaces this file only when validation passes. The as-of date is taken from ICE’s own page, not the scrape date. Source code pattern and history live in the site repository’s scraper directory.
