ICE’s own pages count them differently: its field-office directory says 24, while its check-in page says ERO has 25 and lists a Baltimore Field Office for Maryland. The field office matters in practice: ICE’s facility pages send some questions about a detained person to the field office (for example, identifying the person’s deportation officer), and they give the Field Office Director’s address for conduct complaints. ICE’s field-office directory (updated Sep 2, 2026) states that its field offices are not check-in locations and points to the ICE Check-in page for check-in scheduling, appointment changes and address updates.
