Folkston D. Ray ICE Processing Center is an ICE detention facility at 3262 Hwy 252E, Folkston, Georgia 31537 — the former D. Ray James Correctional Facility, a GEO Group federal prison until 2021, brought into ICE service by the June 2025 contract that consolidated it with Folkston Main and the Annex into the country’s largest immigration detention complex (~3,000 beds; D. Ray alone holds about 1,868). It falls under the Atlanta Field Office.
The critical detail families miss: D. Ray has its own phone, own P.O. Box, and own outreach email — different from Main and the Annex up the road. Using the wrong building’s contacts is the most common dead end.
