Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-05-25 Last updated: 2026-05-25
MigrantUSA (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website migrantusa.com. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
We aim to collect the minimum information necessary to operate the site and respect your privacy choices. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
1. Information you provide directly
You can browse MigrantUSA without providing any personal information. Some optional features may collect information you choose to provide:
- Email address — if you sign up for our newsletter (powered by a third-party service like Beehiiv). You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Email and message content — if you contact us at [email protected] or report a correction. We retain this correspondence to maintain editorial accountability.
2. Information collected automatically
When you visit MigrantUSA, certain information is automatically collected:
- Server logs — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps. Collected by our hosting provider (AWS S3) and CDN (Cloudflare). Used to operate the site and diagnose technical issues.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Cookies section below. Analytics cookies are on by default; you can opt out anytime via our cookie banner.
- Analytics data — by default we collect aggregated usage data through Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which content is useful. You can opt out anytime via our cookie banner.
3. Third-party data collection
Some pages embed content or links from third parties (e.g., government agency websites we cite, affiliate links to financial products). When you interact with those, the third party may collect data per their own privacy policies. We do not control these third parties.
