ITIN (Form W-7) help at this office
- In-person ITIN document review: the IRS page IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers providing in-person ITIN document review (marked “Page Last Reviewed or Updated: 24-Aug-2026”) names Worcester in its Massachusetts list. The IRS says TAC employees can review original documents and certified copies from the issuing agencies required to apply for and renew ITINs, for primary and secondary applicants and their dependents, and that the documents are returned at the end of the appointment.
- IRS list of TACs with ITIN services: the IRS page IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers with ITIN services (marked “Page Last Reviewed or Updated: 25-Mar-2026”) does not list Worcester under Massachusetts. The IRS says a TAC with ITIN services can review a completed Form W-7, authenticate most supporting documents, return authenticated documents at the end of the appointment and mail the ITIN application package. Its footnote adds: “Taxpayer Assistance Centers can authenticate all documents for ITIN applicants who appear in person, except for school and medical records for dependents.
